Marketing Specialist - Fixed Term Contract (1 year)

Job description

Wacom is looking for Marketing Specialist to join the team for period of 1 year. He/she will be responsible for managing all aspects of marketing for all sales channels within the New Markets teams (which covers for instance Middle East, Africa, Russia and Central, Eastern and South East Europe) including develop, drive and implement, in close cooperation with marketing & regional sales teams, for selected groups and distribution partners to expand market share and pursue growth targets (revenue and OPI).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively contribute to and monitor the yearly channel marketing plan for responsible regions in collaboration with regional sales and marketing teams to support product positioning and branding initiatives;
  • Manage channel/geomarketing mix in terms of planning, implementation, controlling, etc. and ensuring marketing budget control and execution (including implementation of POS material and concepts, adaption and localization of assets and content, etc.), within allocated marketing budget;
  • Ensure channel media planning such as advertising, direct marketing and SoMe coordination;
  • Drive influencer collaboration
  • Manage product launch communication on ecommerce platforms
  • Collaborate with marketing team to plan and conduct campaigns, trade shows and other promotional events (B2B & B2C) as well as workshops and partner training courses
  • Manage, adopt and share content for updating regional sales teams and partners with latest product and marketing information including Partner Portal updates for channel partners
  • Gather product and channel insights, monitor market trends, industry standards and competitors
  • Provide a regular update and forecast for A&P spend; Collect and analyze ROI data, prepare reports
  • Develop other tasks / projects / reports requested by the Stream Leader or other stakeholders.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred);
  • Minimum 3-year experience in trade marketing positions within the consumer electronics/ IT accessories environment, collaborating closely with different partners;
  • Experience in managing marketing budgets and project management;
  • Strong knowledge in all areas of digital/online marketing;
  • Good commercial awareness;
  • Good interpersonal skills, with good experience within vertical markets;
  • Self-motivation, drive and proactivity;
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills;
  • Excellent planning and organization skills;
  • Creative, multicultural open minded;
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and standard reporting tools is a plus;
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
