The Experience Center Host should be a truly global citizen, a creative thinker and a problem solver, as you will be responsible for smoothly operational running the Experience Center - it is much like running an art gallery or event location. In this role, you will ensure that all of Wacom’s products and business lines are positively represented and evangelize Wacom’s mission for a creative world, being a true brand advocate.

This role requires working fully onsite in the Experience Center (Düsseldorf) during the opening hours (Tuesday to Saturday). Therefore, full availability to supporting host evening and weekend events is essential.

Your exciting tasks:

  • Managing facilities and daily activities of the Experience Center
  • Organizing and executing basic events
  • Supporting and running the annual versatile event calendar for the Experience Center
  • Supporting to promote, host and organize various events from trainings to happenings
  • Helping to establish Wacom’s presence in Düsseldorf
  • Keeping product portfolio neat and running at all times
  • Checking that all software’s are running smoothly
  • Purchasing of needed assets and equipment
  • Responsible for ordering catering, drinks, etc.

Job requirements

Your Profile:

  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work/communicate with the general public
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure at all times
  • Very good organizing skills, including event organization experience (preferred) 
  • Understanding for different cultures and creative people and their needs
  • (Ideally) knowledge of the Dusseldorf Creative Community
  • Basic tech understanding (e.g. manage/update computers, manage video and audio equipment)
  • Understanding of operational and logistics procedures
  • Fluid in German and high proficiency in English
